There is no Government money to share- Ihedioha

Gov. Okorocha and his people are still surprised at some of the steps the incoming government is taken. For them, due process has no place in governance. The era of staying in spibath and nominate people into committees without terms of reference has gone.

One of the key things the Governor Elect promised during his campaign is due process and order. Due process entails that when given people Committee appointments, letters must be handed over to the members to get them more committed to do their job. Secondly, they must know the terms of reference, to know exactly what the government wants from them. The terms of reference will guide them to know the exact areas to cover. These things are not known to Rochanomics.

While inaugurating the Inauguration planning and Handover Committee yesterday, the Governor Elect stated emphatically and I quote “Ladies and gentlemen, you have been nominated after due consideration of your capacities, commitment to our great party and our dear state to serve as members of the Inauguration Planning and Handover Committee. The relatively large number of people involved is based on the enthusiasm and need for our people to get involved in governmental activities. In addition , the work of the Committee is basically voluntary with little or no remuneration. No government money is involved in this effort. I therefore charge you to put in your best in this patriotic call to serve”.

The outgoing government must come to terms with the fact that the era of Iberiberism is over. Ihedioha is a man of due process, He is always and I mean at all times very deliberate in his actions. In the next fours years, Imo people will witness what a government administration should be. The lessons from Ihedioha’s pattern and style of government will serve as useful materials for smart students of politics.

Imo is indeed back on track…
