The engagement of the Imo Committee on Sanitation Planning, Sensitization and Implementation has been extended till September by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.
This was disclosed in a radio interview, yesterday, by the Committee’s secretary, who doubles as the Special Adviser to the governor on Sanitation and General Manager, Imo State Environmental Transformation Commission – ENTRACO, Hon. Alex Emeziem.
According to him, the governor is impressed by the outcome of the last Sanitation’s exercise, he therefore extended their engagement, to also enable them consolidate.
It could be recalled that the governor before the end of July inaugurated a Committee for the end of the month’s usual sanitation exercise in the State, and it is headed by former governor, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim and a few others as committee members.
