Capt. Ihedioha Heads Integrated Infrastructure committee.
The Transition Committee set up by the Governor elect of Imo state Rt.Hon.Emeka Iheadioha to plan the smooth take off of his government has been inaugurated in Owerri, the Imo state capital.
The committee chaired by an erudite technocrat, Dr. Ernest Ebigh is made up of creme of notable Imo personalities who have made indelible marks in their chosen profession.
Among the 12 Sub-Committee included the Integrated Infrastructural Committee which is headed by no less a personality than former minister of interior of the Federal Rupublic and Chairman/Chief Executive officer of Integrated oil and Gas company Capt. Emmanuel Ihenacho.
Fielding questions from journalists after the inauguration ceremony which was followed by the committee’s inaugural meeting with the governor elect, Ihenacho noted that Imo is set to come back to life.
He used as pointer to good things to come, the array of personalities that encompasses all fields of human endeavour which was assembled by the governor elect as members of the transition committee.
Some of the other notable Imo personalities who made up the Transition Technical committee includes Engr Charles Ugwu, Ambassador Kema Chikwe, Chief Chris Asoluka, Justice Paul Onumajuru, Sir Emma Ohakim.
Others includes, Prof. Viola Onwuliri, Prof Chidi Uwazuruike, Rev. Fr. Prof Philip Ogbonna, Rev.Barr Ikenna Emmanuel, Prof Ike Azogu, Dr. Mrs Agatha Ndugbu, among others.
The committee is saddled with the responsibility of planning an implementable framework for the resuscitation and transformation of Imo state in the medium and long term basis.
The sub committees were charged to complete their assignments and forward their report to the central committee who will conclude work on it within two weeks before submitting the final report to the appropriate quarters.
