His Excellency the Executive Governor Elect of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Nkem Ihedioha , has reassured the people of Imo State of His commitment to a unified Imo. He made this known while addressing the congregation at St. Micheals and All Angels Cathedral Church, Ife Ezinihitte Mbaise, where the Anglican Diocese in Mbaise marked their Victory Thanksgiving service in his honor.

He noted that the people of Imo supported him at no cost, stating that out of the 104 electoral wards in Owerri Zone, He won in 103 wards, a record which has come to stay in the political History of Imo State. He stated further that the determination, resilience spirit and belief of the people of Orlu and Okigwe Zones stabilized the efforts of Owerri Zone. He described the victory as a collective effort of all major players in the State including the masses.

While thanking the Bishop of Mbaise Diocese, Rt. Rev.
