His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha was a guest today at the Church Dedication of the 21st Century Magnificent Edifice of the Assemblies of God Church (Victory Temple), 44 Royce Road, Owerri.

The Governor was ably represented at the event by a high powered delegation led by the Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government, Chief Barr. Chris Okewulonu.

The delegation was received by Engr. Kingsley Onwubiko who also is a member of the church.

In his speech on behalf of the Governor, Chief Okewulonu conveyed the goodwill of His Excellency, who was unavoidably absent as a result of exigent circumstances. He also thanked the Church for their continued support to the administration through their prayers, and also urged them not to relent in their prayers for the success of the Government.

While addressing the congregation, the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria, Rev. Chidi Okoroafor thanked the Governor for extending his hand of support to the church, even from during his campaign days. He also admonished the Church to be good ambassadors of Jesus Christ by living a life of Evangelism.

Also in the delegation today was the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government, Barr. Chima Nwanna.
