His Excellency, Governor Emeka Ihedioha, signed into law The Law Establishing Imo State Sports Commission, a Law Establishing Imo State Power and Electrification Agency (I-POREA), and a Law Establishing Imo State Markets Development Authority.

Yesterday, His Excellency, Governor Emeka Ihedioha, signed into law The Law Establishing Imo State Sports Commission, a Law Establishing Imo State Power and Electrification Agency (I-POREA), and a Law Establishing Imo State Markets Development Authority.

The three Laws singed by Governor Emeka Ihedioha, have brought the Number of Executive Bills Singed into Law since the inception of the Rebuild Imo Administration to 8.

The Governor commended the State assembly for living up to expectations, noting that while Campaigning, He promised to challenge the House with Executive Bills that will enhance the living conditions and welfare of the masses. He thanked the 9th Assembly for responding to His challenge positively.

The Governor was flanked by the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Gerald Irona, Speaker Rt. Hon. Chiji Collins, the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Okey Onyekamma, the Majority Leader, Hon. Chigozie Nwaneri, the Clerk of the House, Barr. Chinelo Ndukwe Emeghara and the Special Adviser on Legislative Matters, Hon. Nnaemeka Maduagwu.
