Graduation of the Second Batch of the Imo Youths undergoing intensive training at the CSS FARMS

The Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Hon. Barr. Uche Onyeagocha, represented His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, last weekend at the colourful graduation of the Second Batch of the Imo Youths undergoing intensive training at the CSS FARMS of the International Skills Acquisition Centre, Gora Nasarawa State, under the Imo Youths in Agribusiness Programme (IYAP).

Each of the trainees received a comprehensive training kit, including an iPad, stationeries, coverall, farmer’s boots and hat, and lots more at the end of the training exercise.

The IYAP project is an initiative of His Excellency, Governor Emeka Ihedioha, CON, with the aim of boosting food security, and most importantly creating jobs for over five thousand Imo youths annually.

Governor Ihedioha is committed in his resolve to make Agriculture a major source of IGR in the State.

The Third Batch of trainees will leave for Nasarawa State on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
