His Excellency Omenkeahurunanya Rt. Hon Sir Emeka Ihedioha CON, joined other world leaders and dignitaries at the British Embassy in Abuja to honour the 93rd birthday of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
He was received by the British Higher Commissioner Catriona Laing.
Governor Ihedioha in his goodwill message at the event congratulated the British Matriarch on behalf of himself, the government and the good people of Imo State.
“Being the Queen, for 67 years is definitely not an easy feat”
Ihedioha lauded the Queen’s deep commitment in her role across the Commonwealth, and in the Nigeria-Britain cooperation which has spanned over decades.
He urged for expansion on investments, improvements, and synergy with States in Nigeria.
Governor Ihedioha utilized the occasion to network and informed the International Community that Imo State is very qualified and viable for their investments, partnership, and suggestions to improve its development and economic status.
He went on to inform them that his administration is ready, willing, and prepared for bilateral relations and cooperation with their Countries and Development Partners.
